What You Need to Know About EV Hire with Europcar

Driving Ev

Europcar makes EV hire simple, with flexible charging terms and 24/7 support to keep you moving.

  • Charge Policy at Pickup: We aim to supply all electric vehicles with 80% charge, with a guaranteed minimum of 50%. The charge level is recorded at both pick-up and return for transparency.
  • Charge Policy at Drop Off: We know that charging an EV isn’t always as quick as refuelling. That’s why we only ask for a minimum of 20% charge when you return your vehicle. It’s one less thing to worry about at the end of your trip.
  • Breakdown Assistance: If you run out of charge or experience a breakdown, help is just a call away. Our 24/7 breakdown service is provided by the AA, with trained professionals ready to assist.
