Locking / Unlocking
The Škoda Connect app lets you lock and unlock your Enyaq remotely when you are in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle and in possession of the key, allowing you to also lock the car with a simple touch of the sensor on the front handle after closing the door
Starting The Škoda Enyaq
To start the Škoda Enyaq ensure you have the key in the vehicle. Simply press the brake, then hit the start/stop button on the left side of the steering wheel. Once the vehicle is on, select drive (D) and you are ready to go.
Getting Going
In the Škoda Enyaq, the electric handbrake, used for parking (P), is located in the centre console where the gear selector would traditionally be. Just above it, you’ll find the mode selector, which lets you easily switch between reverse (R) and drive (D).
Driving The Enyaq
When you need to slow or stop the Enyaq, the brakes are automatically applied when your foot is removed from the accelerator in a process called regenerative braking. This is where the motor converts part of the kinetic energy of the vehicle into electric energy, which is then stored in the high voltage battery pack.
Most drivers adjust to the feel of these driving aspects after just a few miles, but you can adjust the driving modes to according to your preferences by using the recuperation pedals on the side of the steering wheel. You can easily switch between higher or lower levels of energy recuperation, allowing you to tailor the driving experience to your preferences. This feature, combined with a range of driving modes, ensures a smooth and customisable drive.
Turning The Vehicle Off
To switch off the Škoda Enyaq, bring the car to a complete stop and keep your foot on the brake. With all doors closed, press the handbrake with the “P” button on the gear selector to engage the parking brake. Then, press the START/STOP button to turn off the vehicle. Always ensure the vehicle is in park before leaving. Don’t forget to put the vehicle in park before you exit!
Accessing Storage
You can open the boot of the Škoda Enyaq in several convenient ways. First, you can press the button on your key fob to easily open or close the boot. Alternatively, there is a button located on the tailgate itself for quick access. For hands-free operation, simply move your foot near the sensor on the rear bumper to open the boot automatically. Additionally, the Enyaq features an automatically retractable load cover that moves back when the tailgate is opened, making it easier to load and unload items.
Using The Sat Nav
To use the sat nav in your Škoda Enyaq, start by tapping the search icon to enter your destination. Once you’ve inputted your location, the Škoda servers will calculate the best route, taking into account real-time traffic and road conditions. Press the “Start” button to begin your journey, and you can easily view your route by sliding the tab on the right edge of the screen.
For longer trips, consider pre-planning your route along with charging points to ensure a smooth drive. Additionally, you can sync your route with the sat nav for real-time adjustments as needed.
Accessing Climate Controls
To control the climate in your Škoda Enyaq, use the infotainment system’s touch-slider to adjust the air-conditioning temperature, or utilise the physical buttons on the steering wheel to manage air conditioning, recirculation, and temperature synchronisation for all passengers.
